Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple, Diu
Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple is located 3 km away from diu in the fudam village. The gangeshwar temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and also known as seashore temple. This is 5000 years old temple. According to the history, period of mahabharat, the pandavas built five shiv-lingas of different seizes which are created next to each other. There was no priest and whatever you offer to god is washed away by the sea.
Gangeshwar is a name of lord shivawhich was found when he wore ganga river in his jata. Lord shiva inspires deep feelings od spiritual reverence and devotion among the visitors. See water submerged (abhisek) to shiv-lingas during high tides.

Naida Caves, Diu
Naida caves is most underrated tourist attractions in diu. Naida caves located outside of the diu fort. According to the history, when the Portuguese ruled over diu they broke down sections of the huge rock formation, that they used for construction of the diu fort. When operation vijay was launched to seize control by the Indian army. Several soldiers were hiding at the naiad caves. This is underground caves. Their walls eroded by wind and these caves were formed due to geological irregularities and natural process over time. This place is photographer’s paradise.
Naida Caves have a natural opening that allows sunlight to enter the caves and it’s such a beautiful view. Best time to visit the caves when the sun is high above as it lights up and rather dark inside and puts up a natural light so. Caves are in the shapes and size. Entering the caves, the sign board directs you the walk around the cave. Caves are very huge and shades of the wall texture.
The Naida caves have a bumpy and irregular ground surface with several leads ins and tunnels around it. The tunnels are inside the caves. These caves are perfect to close yourself in your own company. Explore this beautiful place and spend some time here. Tree’s hanging roots on the wall were having a marvelous view. Jallandhar Beach, Diu
Jallandhar Beach is beautiful and quite beach among the all the beach of diu. Jallandhar beach has a temple, the temple dedicated to goddess chandrika. This is best place for photo shoot. Jallandhar Beach has a small memorial of the demon Jallandhar. Its name Jallandhar has historical connection. Jalladhar named king of asura was killed by Lord Krishna. Jallandhar Beach is free of crowd. Spend here some quality time like lazing around on the sands, swim into clean water and some water sports. Jallandhar Beach is beautiful and peaceful beach.
